Foodloops is a website that focuses on everything that involves the food. You will be able to find information about food production and distribution, food festivals and events, food literacy, and how to create a better society through food. The authors for this innovated page are a couple of students that were part of CMNS 3700: Fall 2019 semester, guided by the Thompson Rivers University professor, Dr. Kathleen Scherf.

The main purpose of the page is to share places that most of the Kamloops citizens are not aware of. Sometimes we don’t look on the world that is around us, and in this case applies for the hidden food universe. It also raises the voice of those how are trying to do something different, or those who are trying to start a new enterprise that will relates to food.

I believe that this kind of websites relates to my project because this are some places that you could visit by moving in bus. Sometimes the problem is not how to get there, but it normally is where to get. From my point of view, these two websites complement each other, and that is because one will show you activities to do, and the other one will show you how to get to that activity.

My opinion for this page is that this kind of pages should be more shared and viewed. It sometimes is hard for foreigners to adapt themselves to different cultures, and it is needed to be involved in activities for them to feel like they are in a nice place. For example, there is a big number of international students that do not really know what to do when they are free from university, homework, or any other duty.
